How do I remove disk  partition  and merge the 2 partitions into main hard disk C drive. Win7
How do I remove a disk partition and merge the 2 partitions into main hard disk C drive. If I delete Drive D I am left with 250G of unallocated space in drive D Hard drive. And I want the unallocated portion 250G to be allocated to the C drive.jc

Are these partitions on the same physical drive? If so, use Disk Management to delete the D: partition and then use it again to expand the C: partition onto the unallocated space. If they are on separate drives you can't really merge them, but you can mount the space on the second drive to a folder on the C: drive.

You'll have to use a third-party utility such as Easeus Partition Manager Home http://www.partition-tool.com/personal.htm It works well (used it myself numerous times), and the price is right- FREE! SC Tom

Windows 7 does not have such a built-in feature to do that. I think you need the third party software. Please note there could be some risks. Hello, you can use Aomei partition assistant to help you do this job, there are only three steps to follow, you can merge any 2 partitions you like into a bigger one.
